App Access Rights
The Shaggle app requires permission to send notifications in order to inform you about subscription charges or due participations that you have entered into the app.
You can revoke this permission at any time in your device's system settings.
Handling of Your Data
All subscriptions, persons, shares, budgets, custom categories, and settings are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud Sync, these data are also stored via CloudKit in your private iCloud database. CloudKit is a service provided by Apple. The developer of the Shaggle app has no access to this data.
The app does not process any personal data outside of your device or iCloud environment. No data is shared with third parties. Data processing in iCloud is subject to Apple Inc.'s privacy policies.
You can disable iCloud Sync and delete any associated data via iOS settings. For more details on iCloud, please refer to Apple’s website.
If you want to delete all data of the Shaggle app, please proceed as follows:
- Delete the Shaggle app from all your devices.
- Open the Settings app, go to [your name] → iCloud → Storage → Shaggle → Delete Data from iCloud and remove all data. If “Shaggle” is not listed under Storage, no iCloud data exists.
Third-Party Services
Shaggle uses external APIs and services:
- Exchange Rates API: Used solely to fetch exchange rates from cdn.jsdelivr.net or currency-api.pages.dev.
- iTunes Search API: Used exclusively to retrieve information such as app logos and metadata from Apple’s public iTunes catalog.
- Website Favicons: If a logo cannot be loaded via the iTunes Search API for a template, or if the user uses the "Load Favicon" function when creating a subscription by entering a URL, the respective website is loaded and processed to extract the favicon.
Third-Party Trademarks and Logos
Shaggle includes logos, colors, and names of popular subscription services to provide familiar templates. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies. All trademarks belong solely to their respective owners.
App Analytics
The Shaggle app itself does not collect usage or crash data. However, Apple may collect crash reports and aggregated usage statistics, which may be made available to the developer depending on your iOS settings.
You can opt out of sharing this data: Open the Settings app, go to Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, and disable “Share With App Developers”.
More information is available on Apple’s website.
In-App Purchases
The Shaggle app may offer paid features via Apple’s In-App Purchases. Payment processing and purchase management are handled solely by Apple. The app does not store or process any payment information.
Tracking
The app does not use tracking as defined by Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency framework.
